Missionaries To Paraguay

Robert and Helen Goddard

Robert and Helen Goddard moved to Paraguay, South America, on May 3, 1955.
During their lives they encountered many test and trials, but they remained faithful to God.
When they came to Paraguay they brought seven kids with them.
Robert and Helen worked with six First Nation tribes in Paraguay.
They didn't know any of the languages.

They lived in the Northern part of Paraguay,
called the Chaco or "Green Hell" because of the thorn jungle and heat.
They also worked with a hostile tribe called the Ayore.
The Ayore, and many other First Nations now have churches,
thanks to the missionaries that risked everything for God.
At times it comes at a price, but it is worth it.
